David McCann writes haunting and melodic guitar-based songs, by turns upbeat and melancholic.
He has one solo album “...and sang to a small guitar. He formed the band ‘The Sandrunners’ with his friend and fellow songwriter, John McLaverty. They released 3 albums, and have played in many venues and festivals at home and in the Stadsfeesten.
He has now returned to solo work and is working on his 2nd album. He is looking forward to returning to Hoorn, his second home.
